The brief was to illustrate a London story while incorporating a form of London transport. I decided to illustrate Jimi Hendrix’s last ever performance, which was at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London’s Soho district.

I created this poster using a variety of mediums, such as fine liners, watercolours, Promarkers, and digital assets… and listened to a lot of Jimi Hendrix!

Despite not winning the competition, the intent was to have fun with my art and it was exciting to take this from start to finish in a week.
